F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 (CEV) You are better off having a friend than to be all alone, because then you will get more enjoyment out of what you earn.

These verses about is what Bible describes about friend. There are there to love us and to have an enjoyment with. I really agree to the author of Ecclesiastes that two, or more, are better than one. The Bible itself had stated that we SHOULD have friends.

A friend for me is also to be trusted because you share your life with them, and your also your secrets.

So, I wanna say thank you to my friends!

Firstly, my high school friends. I've been with them for about 1-4years. And indeed, they really touched my life.

For my friends:

When the daylight's gone and you're on your own
And you need a friend just to be around
I will comfort you, I will take your hand
And I'll pull you through, I will understand

And you know that
I'll be at your side, there's no need to worry
Together we'll survive through the haste and hurry
I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, and you've nowhere to turn
I'll be at your side

If life's standing still and your soul's confused
And you cannot find what road to choose
If you make mistakes
You can't let me down
I will still believe
I will turn around... =)

what's with my name???

I am Caryl Jan Garcia Sosa

As what my mom said, she saw the name "Caryl" in a Baby's Name Book, which means STRONG.

Am I strong?!

Just kidding! ahehehe ^^

Before, I really hate my name Caryl Jan. It is because it sounds like a boy's name. I also infrequently know some people who has my name, Caryl. But later on, I'm liking my name because it's unique. It feels like I'm the only "Caryl" in this world. Joke! :p

I also like my name because there's a popular singer that rhymes my name. Yeah! It's Karylle. The daughter of Ms. Zsa Zsa Padilla. I also like Karylle.
Believe it or not, I also talked to Zsa Zsa Padilla through a comment in her blog. She said that her daughter's name is originally spelled like in my name, she just changed it because of Karylle's grandmother. Bongga! hahahahaha =))

Anywayz, on the other hand, my second name "Jan" came from January, my birthmonth. My birthday was on January 3, 1991.

Why Nursing?

At first, I don’t really like to take up Nursing because of some personal reasons. I prayed for it, I asked God for some right directions, and here was it. God really directed me in this course. I also said to myself, “Why won’t I try Nursing? Maybe I will be motivated as the days are going on.” My preference also before in a course that I will take was that I’ll be able to find a job easily, so, this course fits my preference. As we all know that Nursing is in demand or you can easily find a job when you’re a Nursing graduate. So to make it clear, I didn’t choose this course because I can earn a high salary and that I’ll be able to go abroad. I chose this course because I can easily find a job and through asking my Heavenly Father in His will to me.

Many people are also encouraging me to take up Nursing, especially my churchmates and some relatives. It is because almost all of my churchmates are Nursing students, so with my relatives. Perhaps one of the reasons also why I took up this course is that I will be able to find a job easily when the time that I will graduate since I have many backers.

I learned how to love this course. I perceived the value of service for our society and for the other people who needs primary health care. I love to see the people who put a smile on their face because I helped them. Now, as the day goes on, little by little I am moved to pursue this course. And I’m really glad that I am now in the second step of my journey in this course. I hope that I can go through the finish line and be a successful Registered Nurse someday.
